As the longest night of the year approaches, it’s time to hunker down and hit the pause button—much like the garden itself. At first glance, it may seem at a standstill, but as plants rest for winter, a more subtle kind of beauty emerges upon closer observation. Rather than writing about it, I wanted to show it. This video highlights the bark, berries, structure, and patterns that often go unnoticed when flowers and foliage are competing for attention.
